Apple tipped to unveil new Mac computers at event
Apple is expected to reveal new computers next week after sending out an invite to an event.
The company may update both its laptops and desktops, with several big changes expected.
The MacBook Pro range hasn’t had a design change for nearly four years, and it may take on some of the features of the MacBook, a 12-inch device that ditched traditional ports for USB-Type C.
The laptops will certainly be slimmer and feature faster, more efficient processors and may even feature new tech such as an OLED touchscreen in place of function keys and a fingerprint scanner.
While the company is now best known for its smartphones, computers still make up about 15 per cent of its revenue.
The event will be held in California and Kiwis can watch the livestream on Friday, October 28 at 6am (NZ time).
